....was hallmarked by the annual awards presentation at the Founder's Day Cookout Celebration (sponsored by the Greater Cleveland Citywide Chapter) on Sunday June 22. 

The winners at Nu Phi Psi's annual award presentation were: "Mr. Nu Phi Psi 2008" - Bro. Anthony Johnson (Alpha Chapter); "Chapter of the Year 2008" - The Alpha Chapter (Greater Cleveland Citywide);  and "Most Outstanding Service Program of the Year" - Hoop for Hunger (Organizer, Bro. Delorne Young - Alpha Chapter).

Chairman Samuel L. Gilbert was honored with an award of merit from the Nu Phi Psi Society of Honorable Brothers, recognizing his work and efforts in being the first National Chairman/CEO.  Chairman Gilbert honored his Corporate Office staff with special accommodation awards for all their work and assistance in guiding Nu Phi Psi to its greatest year of expansion and community outreach programming.  The award recipients were  - Bro. Delorne Young (Alpha Chapter), Bro. Sean McCary (Alpha Chapter), Bro. Lamont Richmond II (Alpha Chapter), Bro. Mario Jimerson (Eta Chapter).

Chairman Gilbert recieves an award of leadership, merit and recognition from the Honorable Alumni of Nu Phi Psi, presented by his fiancee, Jamie V. Watkins (Sigma Gamma Rho),

at the Founder's Day Cookout Celebration.
