The University of Toledo Chapter Takes the
2011 Chairman's Cup
Toledo, Ohio---After edging the Xi Chapter in Murfreesboro, TN last year to win their first chapter of the year award, the Gamma Hamma cruised to their second straight Nu Phi Psi scholarship, showmanship, and service championship this year. Under the distinct leadership of the chapter's co-founder and 2010-11 president, Bro. Antonio Hurt (who now serves as Gamma's Graduate Advisor) the Hamma personafied Nu Phi Psi's committment to outreach and service during 2010-11 academic year.
The Toledo Area United Way Community Clean-Up (The Big Event), Kilometers for Kidneys, The UT Blood Drive, and the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes (domestic violence prevention, education, and awareness), were just a few of the onslaught of service projects Gamma hammered out over the past year.
Our national chairman (Hon. Samuel L. Gilbert) had nothing but praise for Gamma. "I am

exceedingly proud of our young Nu Phi Psi men at UT," He said. "We have so many great chapters that do such great things in their respective communities...it's always a challenge announcing the chapter of the year."
"But this year," Chairman Gilbert grinned. "The Hamma had outreach programming on smash. I'm very proud of what Nu Phi Psi is doing for the Toledo community."
Back to back champions...If they keep up the good works, the Hamma may be talking 3-peat. Stay tuned.
